Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. (NASDAQ:DJT), the operator of Truth Social, filed a draft registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday for its new cryptocurrency ETF.
The Truth Social Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF, B.T. aims to directly hold digital assets with 75% of its funds invested in Bitcoin and 25% in Ethereum. The ETF is designed to track the price performance of these cryptocurrencies.
According to the company’s announcement, Crypto.com will serve as the exclusive custodian and prime execution agent for the ETF’s Bitcoin and Ethereum holdings. The firm will also provide staking and liquidity services.
The ETF’s shares are planned to be listed on NYSE Arca, pending SEC approval of both the registration statement and a Form 19b-4 filing. Yorkville America Digital is acting as the sponsor of the fund.
Trump Media and Technology Group, which trades under the ticker DJT on both Nasdaq and NYSE Texas, also operates the streaming platform Truth+ and the FinTech brand Truth.Fi. Shares climbed 1.7% following the announcement.
